squint and pray

So thus far nothing has been so incredible that I've needed to blog about except for what I've recently discovered. My life is absolutely insane right now. I have a million things going on from boyfriends, college, keeping up with my work - it's ridiculous. All of this combined with the stress of being a teenager makes everything seem so blurry. It's hard to see. Honestly, sometimes I forget to bow down before my Heavenly Father and ask Him what He wants. I forget that His will is the "big picture." All I can say is, when everything is blurry, don't forget to squint. Then you'll see the bigger picture.

promise little - do much

New years is coming up and I'm trying to think of a good resolution. The thing is - I'm absolutely terrible at keeping promises. I think the best thing I can do is just try, but do I really get an A for effort? New Years Resolution: Make a Positive Impact in Somone's Life. Not to hard, right? I'll try to do something positive each day. If it's an outstanding work of mine, I'll post it up here. I'm doing this for God's glory only, not mine.

It's December 28. Close to a new year. New friends, new opportunities, new chances - a new year. I took a step outside this morning a breathed in the cool, refreshing air. A new year. 2009 is ending with beautiful sunrises, crisp days, and picturesque sunsets accompanied by nights lit up with bright gleam of a million stars. Such beautiful, silent creations stars are. They give hope in darkness, for that's when they shine the brightest.
